Kim & Khloé Kardashian Were Forced to Flee Their California Homes due to Wildfires

As the Woolsey fires rage on in Southern California, hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate. Several affluent Ventura County neighborhoods have been put at risk, including those of some rather famous people.

Notably, while celebrities may get special treatment in most aspects of their lives, wildfires don’t discriminate.

Kim Kardashian West Forced to Evacuate

Among those forced to flee their homes are Kim Kardashian and her family. On Instagram, the reality star shared pictures of the fire taken from a private flight. She noted upon landing that she had only an hour to pack and evacuate.

“I heard the flames have hit our property at our home in Hidden Hills but now are more contained and have stopped at the moment,” she later tweeted “It doesn’t seems [sic] like it is getting worse right now, I just pray the winds are in our favor.” Kardashian added, “God is good. I’m just praying everyone is safe.”

Other Affected Kardashian/Jenners

She wasn’t the only one in the Kar-Jenner clan that had to leave home due to the wildfire either. Kourtney Kardashian also left her Calabasas home to stay at her sister Kendall Jenner’s place in Beverly Hills. Khloé, too, had to evacuate her Malibu home.

“I am with Rob, Dream and True and I am up keeping watch! Saying prayers and thanking all of the brave firefighters who risk their lives for us,” Khloé tweeted.

“I just left with the clothes on my back but I think I packed Trues entire bedroom and closet into my car,” she explained in a subsequent tweet. “Obviously she’s all that matters to me.”

Caitlyn Jenner almost had her home destroyed by the fires, and some outlets even reported it had been. In an incredible stroke of luck, however, it appears her Malibu home was spared.

Other Celebrities Affected by the Fire

Alyssa Milano, Lady Gaga, and Guillermo del Toro are also among those affected by the Woolsey fire.

“Evacuated last night. Bleak House and the collection may be endangered but the gift of life remains,” tweeted Del Toro.

Rainn Wilson, Roma Downey, Melissa Etheridge, and Eddie McClintock all found themselves forced to evacuate as well. Many of those forced to leave their homes tweeted to reassure their fans that they and their pets were okay.
