Just like the rest of us, celebrities have children who grow up and pursue their own interests and careers. Some follow in the footsteps of their parents, and some take completely different paths! Either way, it’s always interesting to see the children of celebrities grow up and become their own people.
Here are how some of these celebrity kids have grown up – almost all of them look eerily like their parents!
10. Ava Phillippe – THEN
Ava Elizabeth Phillippe was born to Reese and Ryan Phillippe in 1999. She was named after actress Ava Gardner. Reese was six months pregnant with Ava when she and Ryan married. They divorced in 2007.

Not surprisingly, with her mother’s stunning looks, Ava has transitioned into modeling. She appeared in Rodarte’s Fall 2018 collection. She and Reese have an amazing relationship and have gushed about how they can talk for hours and relate on many levels. How sweet!
9. Kaia Gerber – THEN
Kaia Jordan Gerber was born in 2001 to parents Cindy Crawford and model-turned-businessman Rande Gerber. When she was only 10 years old, she landed her first modeling gig with Versace’s junior line.

Kaia has gone on to launch a successful modeling career, appearing in magazines such as Vogue, Teen Vogue and Pop Magazine. She hit the runway in 2017, debuting for Raf Simons’ Calvin Klein Collection. Her work continues to become more and more prominent!
8. Sailor Brinkley Cook – THEN
Born in 1998, Sailor Brinkley Cook’s parents were supermodel Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook. According to Sailor, she was completely oblivious to what her mother did for work every day and did not know how famous she was until later on. She didn’t think she had what it takes to be a model when she was younger because she wasn’t “stick thin.”

While Sailor has ventured into modeling, she admits that her first love is photography. She looks almost exactly like her mother though and has participated in photoshoots mirroring some of her mother’s early work. She recently defended her work on a nude photoshoot called “In Her Own Words” which featured nude models as living canvases.
7. Rumer Willis – THEN
Born in 1988, Rumer Willis is the daughter of superstars Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. She was named after the British author Rumer Godden. She made her film debut in 1995 alongside her mother in Now and Then. Since then, she worked steadily.

Not just an actress, Rumer has the moves, too! She won season 20 of Dancing with the Stars in 2015. She has also appeared on Broadway, starring as Roxie Hart in “Chicago.” Lately she has appeared as a regular on the show Empire. Rumer’s career shows no signs of slowing down!

Chances are that Jaden (born 1998) and Willow (born 2000) haven’t been very far from your radar for most of their lives. They have enjoyed the benefits of their very supportive superstar parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Jaden and Willow will probably continue to rise in stardom if they continue taking roles in Hollywood. One cute thing about their names that you may not have noticed: each name is a gender swapped version of the opposite gender parent’s name (Will becomes Willow, and Jada becomes Jaden). Cute!
5. Maddox Jolie-Pitt – THEN

Born in 2001, Maddox is the oldest of six kids who shared Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt as parents. He was adopted from Cambodia when he was just a few months old and has spent time recently reconnecting to his home country.

In fact, Maddox worked with his mother on her film First They Killed My Fatheras an executive producer. Of his mother professionally, Maddox said, “She’s a wonder.” Whether Maddox is planning on a career in Hollywood is still up in the air, but he seems off to a good start!
4. Patrick Schwarzenegger – THEN

Patrick was born in 1993 to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. He is also the grand-nephew of John F. Kennedy! He got his first taste of acting when he was 10 years old, playing a small role in The Benchwarmers.

Patrick practiced acting with his father as a child and took private acting lessons through high school. He has continued to land roles and grow as an actor. His biggest role was as a lead opposite Bella Thorne in Midnight Sun, but reviews were not very kind. Keep working at it, Patrick!

Born in 1998 to parents Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, it is hard to imagine that Paris could live anywhere outside of the spotlight. Michael was very protective of his children’s privacy however, and Paris found the spotlight on after her father’s death.

Born in 1988, Zoe’s parents are musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet. Her parents divorced when she was five and she spend portions of her childhood living with both. She began studying acting when she graduated high school and dropped out of college to pursue acting in New York City.

As you can see, Zoë is the spitting image of her mother Lisa Bonet! Her hard work and determination has paid off – Zoë has kept a very regular schedule of acting gigs. She has appeared in blockbusters such as X-Men: First Class, Divergent, Mad Max: Fury Road and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Born in 1992, Frances Bean Cobain – with her father’s haunting blue eyes – is clearly the daughter of legendary rock musician Kurt Cobain. She was the only child that married rockers Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love had together. Frances was very young when her father committed suicide.
